Figured more people would see this post here. Hello All! The town of Killarney, would like to invite anyone without a home to join our great town. Killarney promises to give Minecrafters a totally different experience from what you are used to from other towns on our server. As most people have witnessed, many towns are world edited so they are completely flat and everything is the same. Here in Killarney, we offer awesome landscapes, and a variety of landscapes at that! What other town can say they have Mountains, Forests, and Beaches, all in the same town? Not many, if any at all. Another unique feature to my town is I do not sell plots. I sell land. For $1,000 I allow you to create your building how high you want, shape you want, and you choose your own materials just make sure you are within 20x20 blocks. Right now, Killarney has two working shops, and a mall with many shops that have not been occupied yet, so all you Residents out there, this is the PERFECT opportunity for you to create your own shop! Killarney also has a hotel with luxurious rooms for sale, a fully built house for sale, a Bank (still figuring out how we are going to go about with how to use our bank), a library (finishing up) 2 Public Mine shafts, and a public garden. Very Nice town! You did a good job using terrain to your advantage. A little hint, though. If you'd like that final screenshot to look a little bit better, try using logs as "support" type poles, sticking out of the water on each side, every 3-4 spaces.
Thanks welikeike22, yeah, that path has not had much attention paid to it. But that is a great idea. My town has great builders, who are the main contributors to how my town looks.
Looks really good and it is nice to have a mountan like town if you know what i meen. 1 more thing for referance, press F1 and you can get better shots. Just try it out!
Thanks Pizza, I have a Mac, so would I press FN+F1? Because to take screenshots on MacBooks, you have to type FN+F2
(Yeah you do for macs I think) Just to say that The Mall and Library are now completed - I would post screenshots but I'm having issues with my minecraft folder so I'll just leave that up to you Murph The Mall now has 6 available shop spaces for residents to buy out in addition to those which are already taken!
