    Basically reading Head First Java currently. Head FIrst Design Patterens good book to read after? And then after that I was thinking Java Cookbook.

    I would strongly recommend thenewboston's youtube tutorials, if you're just starting out, as I am not too familiar with programming texts.

    oh ive tried his tutorials and honestly i feel like your gaining close to nothing since your just watching a video. whereas a book you have to read and do the excercises. i would suggest head first java if you're looking to learn though. very helpful
