Minecraft Username: 314 Brief Description: During the restarts I lost a part of my items, others are still present though. Instructions: The restart was announced and it was said that we should join the SG as soon as possible during the restarts. Between two restarts I put all my items into a chest since I didn't want them to be lost when restarting in SG. After the next restart I immediately joined SG (Didn't look at my inventory before) and since then there hasn't been another restart. When I got killed by BackToThePast I came back to the lobby and noticed that I still had a few items in my inventory (9 dirt, 14 stone, 9 seeds and my Eff5 ST1 Unbr3 pickaxe). I got back to my chest where I placed the other items, but they weren't there. Most items were not worth very much (Like 2 stacks of bricks), but one of those was my valuable sharpness4 looting2 knockback2 fireaspect2 diamond sword which has been missing since. How many times did you recreate this bug?: Once. Result: About 75% of the items in my inventory were gone Expected Result: The items to be either in the chest or in my inventory. Evidence: Sadly only my inventory and the chest where I put the items into at x:9847 y:64 z:-7896 Note: I assume it isn't the usual SG bug where you loose the items if the server crashes because I still had a few items. - 314 -
I believe a rollback was done, so items that you had got recently may have disappeared back to original locations and other chests.
Hm...how far was it rolled back? My bricks are not int he furnace, so maybe back in clay blocks across rising. But I have had the sword now for over a week. Where could it have gone then? I practically never took it out of my inv since then, and I checked all the chests I own. EDIT: Jst remembered...today (Or was it yesterday?I don't remember exactly) I died in the PvP area and @oxwood2 got my items. Then he sold them back to me for 5k. COuld it be that they are in his chest again? But my other items I lost aswell in PvP (Like the pick I mentioned above, or my armour) are still there. I very much hope it will be possible to get to the core of this bug/rollback/whatever. - 314 -
Its very possible 314. The only reason i say rollback is that i found items gone that i found back in chests again, i am going to leave this to Andrewkm to solve as i do not know the technical details of these restarts.
