Some time ago andrewkm created a thread stating that the use of itemframes in market is forbidden. http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/t...tplace-no-itemsframes-rule.73624/#post-356789 However, the Spawn Shop Application Page , has not been updated accordingly, (only this page, in the general server rules it already states that they are indeed forbidden) which can misguide new shopowners into thinking they are allowed to place them. ---- Also, I am aware the rules don't say anything about paintings (meaning they are allowed), but I think their behavior may be similar to that of itemframes. I like using them as decorations, but I'm afraid that there may be a problem with using them if they cause lag. Are they really allowed in the marketplace?
Paintings haven't caused any issues, while item frames did cause issues. (maybe because an item frame holds an item and an orientation, and a painting only holds an id for the painting type)
