Hey, GTREX here. Ive been wondering, that since i'm rather new in the server and i'm not doing bad, but i dont have much money, even though i farm and do all the recomended things, it just doesn't work out for me and i have a friend with the same issues, and we need help. Please tell me what we should do!
Bug a tycoon over and over all day long until he/she gives you money. That, or sell everything you own to a rich builder and throw all of your profit into the lotto. As long as you dont pm me asking for money, im happy. Dont pm me. *jumps into lava*
No.... Anyway, I would say to just keep on farming. Create a larger farm and spend a certain amount of time each day on it. That way you will make a good amount of money. I know it seems like it's taking awhile, but soon enough, all of your hard work will pay off XD. Also, try to start selling things as well. Make a business perhaps! Just keep on pushing, you'll get there eventually!
Mining and Farming are 2 very good ways of making money, So maybe try switching between the 2 of them just to ensure you don't get bored. All in all they bring in decent money.
try to get an effv axe and go pumpkin farming. Get enough money for mayor, get a town, and make TONS of money there. I suggest only farming pumpkins as it's the easiest to farm (no replanting) and itn't that badly nerfed
Don't talk to me about farming....Bad Memories. Anyway. Step 1) Get really freaking good at building. 2) Sell the buildings for ridiculous prices. 3) Waste money on lotto (or gain net of 1 million). 4) Rinse, lather, repeat.
I melon farm but that's because I have a melon sword. If I were you I would mine with a fortune pick. That's how I got my money when I was resident.
+1 to this, especially with pumpkins being nerfed. If possible, invest in obtaining an Eff V, Unbreaking III, Fort III pick and mine. It may be a big upfront investment, but it will pay off pretty quickly. I made most of my money up to Mayor mining.
Mining world, tunnel levels 10-12 (the block at your feet, block in front of your face, and the block above that). Get a good shovel and dig out all of the dirt and gravel you come across. You will find a good amount of redstone, iron, coal, diamonds and lapis and some gold - all of which are worth money. You will also get experience when you mine the blocks that drop their items (redstone, coal, diamonds, lapis) and when you smelt the others (iron, gold). You can then sell that experience for more money.
Well I wasn't the best at making sure I didn't spend my money, but with my friends I got resident in like a week or maybe longer.
