Like the title said, I'm trying to figure out if survivor is worth 20k. So here are some questions: 1: Is the Nether to small, can you find enough glow stone and quarts to make a good profit? 2: Is pvp a problem? 3: Does not having fly+ matter? Thxs for your help!
1: There is normally enough glowstone and quarts to make a profit. 2: I never run into pvp. 3: I dont have fly+ and its still mostly safe as long as you pay attention.
I have made much more than what i invested into going into the nether. I usually silk touch quarts and fortune in in mining world, but yes you will get your 20k back if you spend the time mining of course.
I bring a silk touch max pick to get quarts/glowstone and then fortune the quarts in mining world for exp.

Silk touch and fortune cannot be applied to the same pick, you would need two different picks for silk touch and another for fortune. You can either enchant the picks at the exp or buy them from other players.
Yes, also when i mean max fortune or max silk touch picks I mean: Max Fortune pick: Fortune 3 Efficiency 5 unbreaking 3 Max silk pick: Silk touch 1 Efficiency 5 unbreaking 3 I do not know the current price for max picks so you would have to ask others.
If you have a max fort or silk pick You will make your money back. I would suggest having fly+ but not needed But what is needed is pyro+ You only need to get 40 stacks of Quartz to make your money back, i know that sounds a lot, but if you have a fort pick, its not too bad. Dont mind mining it twice, take the ore out into the mining world and fort it for xp as well, even more money.
