Stop saying that irelevent posts may cause a warning. Just delete their comment and warn then right then and there. It's always the same people commenting on complaint/appeals, so don't give them the satisfaction that they get a free-be to comment if a mod hasn't instructed not to post. Make it a general forum rule on the wiki if it isn't one yet and start enforcing it without a free-be warning. I believe @TaylorBros22 @eekelmo @jmichael214 and literally all the other mods understand how frustrating it is to continuously 'remind' users not to post irrelevantly, and how just because they say "sorry if irrelevant" it doesn't make it not irrelevant-.-
This is something I have brought up with the staff team before, and because I think that something seriuosly needs to be done I'm going to tag phys. @Physicistsmom
+1/-1 Sometimes irrelevant posts are needed. Most of the time they aren't, but the odd post to shed some light on the situation isn't bad.

+1 Get rid of the trolls, They are stupid to put it nicely If you are not sure if your post is relevant or not, then it probably isnt.
Hardly a new suggestion. http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/t...ing-about-posts-in-complaints-section.128952/ There have been posts about new processes in effect, the wait and see if that works approach... while I haven't been monitoring the section (I'm not staff so really it's none of my beeswax) I have noticed the odd post here and there that has no public warning flag on it to see if the irrelevant post was considered such or not. I've also found that, if I did report it, that the report would be rejected and the user not warned if the complaint had since been handled and closed. That shouldn't matter, as the lack of warning will just encourage the user to try and get away with it again.
+1. First of all, I don't see how it's that hard to not post on a complaint... I have never gotten a forum warning before, and it's really not that hard. Either way, I do see much more "this is a final warning, please don't post" than "irrelevant posters have been warned and had their posts deleted." At this point, it needs to be the other way around. Also, I haven't seen someone be forum temp-banned for irrelevant posting in a while... I think more of those are necessary as well. I believe we just need to crack down on excessive trolling more in general.
I'd like to hear from physi to be honest. Because if all the other past suggestions regarding this have been ignored, I'd like to know why this isn't being implicated. Please talk about this amongst the 'staffersphere' @TaylorBros22 and possibly get back to me.

Why do I get the sense you're always out to get the players? Let's think for a second. A builder gets banned, and files a ban appeal. His neighbor in his town posts on his appeal something like "please unban him I miss him " You want that guy to just be slapped with a forum warning? Are you going to consider the fact he's new and extremely upset, and has no malicious intent what so ever? Warn for stupid, don't warn stupidly.
I like this idea, but what if staff handled complaints like lwc removals? Then, staff don't have to worry about that and once a complaint is locked, they move it to the complaints archive. This is up to staff to decide honestly if they want to do something about it or not. Just my two cents though.
