Minecraft Username: Ginger543 Brief Description: Very minor bug but when you click on a player name in chat that is named after another player (someone made their nick ginger) with the intent to pm the player instead of pm the correct user it will pm me ginger543. Instructions: Using my user as an example 1. Get. someone to name themselves ginger 2. click the name 3. pm me ginger543 instead of the other user you intended to PM How many times did you recreate this?: 4-5 times on different servers. While I did not have this exact bug earlier, and for some reason it is not happening now, when clicking on a players name earlier it was displaying to me "/msg %player_name%". Not sure if similar issue or not, but currently unable to replicate steps to produce this result.
I have had this problem as well, I have seen it happen when nicked players are in another server (vanish may have something to do with it unsure though)
I honestly can't be assed to figure this out / fix this. We'd have to hook into our nickname plugin, etc. Just use the correct pm command instead of relying on interactive clicks.
