Reason: I for one would like to advertise certain things I can't say in global from lobby and while yes, I do want this cause I have no option but to remain in the lobby, I do think it would be useful to those who don't want to change servers to advertise something especially while grinding hard in VMR. Why would you need to advertise on different servers? Honestly just seems like it would create a huge mess with players getting bombarded with ads for servers they don't even want to play on (also don't get banned lol)
People may buy/sell features for a server but global isn't the place to advertise that an example would be me wanting to purchase patron but not having access to /ch trade makes that a little difficult to communicate in-game where most ads are actually noticed.
if you don't have access to /ch tr then presumably you don't have access to your balance either, how exactly would you pay them should they respond?
1) If you do strike up a deal, you could then go to the main server to follow up, which is easier than going into the main server to advertise ever so often. 2) If you have forum premium you could do the deal from whatever server you’re on and just transfer the money via forums
Eh, I'd still rather not be blasted with main server ads on lobby/vmr. Not worth the trade for being able to advertise
I'm not sure what you meant about pm's being full server but I'm going to assume you meant they are per server in which case you'd be wrong as it seems that way because pm'ing someone who is on another server is difficult as you MUST get the casing and everything correct.
I shouldn't have to leave a channel because I don't want to see ads that aren't relevant to the server I'm on.
No, what I meant was you can do /pm to anyone in any server (you need to do their full name with correct caps tho)
