I have just been looking through the forum complaints list looking to bump a complaint I have and I looked through a few melon sword related complaints. They all seem to be linked where the person has been teleported into a PVP zone without being told and then killed, Now what I am proposing is that it is made impossible for someone to be teleported to within a PVP zone to cut down on the amount of people that have this happen to them, I know there are other ways of killing players but getting rid of the PVP arena would be helpful in stopping these types of complaints.
This could be possible, but it would be a lot of work. You would have to block each TP command in each individual region.
Wouldn't it be possible for Sky/Andrew to do this to every new region they create? But of course, old pvp regions would take a lot of work, what if we made an application for people to file? I'm fairly sure bumping complaints/ban appeals is against the rules.
This would be the only problem with this but with new regions it would work, I would be willing to compile a list of all PVP arena cords for the staff members if they were to implement this, And It was not a bump per say just re-tagging the smod responsible for the complaint as they may have forgotton to ban the user
I just thought of something. Wouldn't it be easier just to go pull out all the pvp arena applications, and just go through them one by one? There would be no need to compile a list, because the info is right in those applications.
Thats what I would do but get all of the cords of the PVP arenas then send the list to the person who removes the tp ablity from the regions.
I suppose you could do that for them. But it would have to be Andrew/Sky, unless Gadmins set up pvp arenas. Which I don't think they do.
-1, if I wanted to train my swords skill at my enclosed arena, I'd have to tp someone. This way, I cant even train.
Or, it can stay the same, because if a friend and I wanted to 1v1, one kills the other, we tp them back, not literally break the arena for something people should be aware of.
What stepping a few blocks out of your way is really that hard.] Yes people should be told but if you were planning to steal someones melon sword or eff7 pick you're not gonna tell someone this, putting this into place would allow to help stop idiots stealing peoples hard earned items.
They shouldn't be accepting tps for no reason, should they? And what? Tping them to you is so hard? Or getting someone to tp to you then bring them to you is hard? No.
Implementing this is fairly simple actually, just change the definition of the PvP flag on a region to also include a command blocking flag. Specific PvP arenas would have to be constructed to cause any issues with this, so it shouldn't be too much of an issue. No backlog of PvP areas to go through, no additional flags to add when more areas are created. I laik.
