The Black Lake When: Saturday(July 18th) at 2pm EST Where: VMR server Teleports to the event arena will be issued at the start of the event! Spoiler Come seek us where our voices sound, We cannot sing above the ground, And while you're searching ponder this; We've taken what you'll sorely miss, An hour long you'll have to look, And to recover what we took, But past an hour, the prospect's black, Too late, it's gone, it won't come back. On Saturday all contestants will brave the depths of the Black Lake looking for items of value that they would sorely miss. Your goal is to swim the depths avoiding Drowned Zombies, Guardians, and race the other users and collect as many of the item sets as possible. You will be lightly armed with a full set of iron armor and a knockback stick. You are mostly on your own for swimming, however if you are lucky you may find some enchantments and magical items to assist you in the arena. Once again keep inventory will be on, so you won't lose your progress if you die, however you will get reset at the beginning if you die in the arena. Here's how it works. Before the event begins you will be teleported to the arena by one of the GA's You then want to right-click one of the beds to set your respawn-point. If you have an existing base in VMR for the week please take down your base coords, I can return you to your base after the event! At the start you will dive in and attempt to collect the items of the sets I've put together to redeem for a prize. Set sizes range from 2-5 items in the set, your goal is to race the other players (and avoid the mobs) find the chests scattered in the arena and collect the items to complete the set. Beware, some areas are more difficult than others to navigate! The mermaid village will contain a number of prizes, but the true treasures will be found in the underwater castles, can you collect a full set for a prize!? I suspect I will need to repeat this but here you go! If you complete a set you PM me during the event and I will verify and tally your name down. A simple PM "completed blue set" or something similar will suffice. Prizes as usual will be awarded on the Main servers after the event! Also this is a RACE. The first people to PM me that they have completed the set AND it is verified by me will claim one of the available prizes.
