I'm glad to see you've registered on our forums.

We always encourage forum use in the event communication within the actual server is limited.
As I'm sure you've already logged in game, you're aware of our town region system and grief policy. Since you're just starting out, it'd be best for you to gather up some funds and purchase a plot in a protected region, so you can build freely without the concerns of losing items/blocks.

Alternatively, you can start out by issuing the server command /wild land and placing a few chests down, and /lock 'ing them to prevent users from stealing your stored items. Within the wild region grief is legal, so I'd recommend keeping your living premises strictly to cobble/dirt as if it gets griefed it's not a biggie to replace.

Once you gather a bit of funds in your /bal you can apply for your first rank! On ECC we're all about economic rank status. Freshly starting out, the initial rank is Builder. Shortly after, the next rank which would cost you a /bal of $15,000 ECD would be Resident. After Resident, follows the next rank which would cost you a /bal of $85,000 ECD being Mayor. With the Mayor rank, comes town protection. When you obtain the $85,000 ECD to apply for Mayor when you're a Resident, you can also apply for a 200x200 block protected region, which we would call a town.

I won't surround you with a bunch of information to confuse you, so I'll leave it at that. Your main goal at the moment, would be to set up a living premises and begin to gather some funds for your first rank.

You can make money doing practically anything and everything. You can mine, farm, and even trade items within the player market. You can use /sell (item) and /worth (item)

When you get in game, try using;

/help commands
/help ranks

While you will find the majority of players here honest and helpful, make sure you learn to take screenshots of your transactions for the few "bad apples" that may try to take advantage of you.

Welcome to the server! Like Emongolab said I would recommend getting a plot in a town, also remember to /vote everyday and sell your nstars at the user market (use the portal at spawn!)

Hi Spongey! You can vote everyday and get NEther stars and get at least 1k a day! Do not do /sell hand for the nether stars, use the player market instead! If you vote everday for 15 days you can get Resident! By the way I have a stable you can ride at if you would like ! Have Fun!
