Hi, you could probably guess from the title that I have an idea about having a pre-built home business. I want to know if anyone would like this idea of a business and buy homes. +0 I'm rather undecided, it sounds like a good business, but there is little market in buying pre-builts... People that buy plots are going build houses for "Efficiency" uses. People that build pre-builts are aiming for "Style". All the prebuilders are trying to make your house snazzy, and all the plot buyers are stacking their chests up the wall.
I've played with this idea as well, but I agree with Jason. There isn't a market for it. However, I can see two approaches here. You can find a way to make superior homes and market them to the rich. You could do this by having them very well decorated and furnished, adding electricity with redstone, etc. You sell very cheap homes to those users who just join and are like "can i join a town plz?" The town could essentially serve as a launch point for these users. Pm me if you want to talk about it more. Overall, I think it is a good idea if you can pull it off.
Another idea i had in mind, the only real market is giant 30x30-50x50 super mayor plots. They want em to look snazzy
I just started recently, and other than mining, my new source of income is building Steampunk style houses for a hefty profit. Like right now I'm building one on a 30x30 plot thats about 13x15 or so. If you start this idea I would love to be part of it and build for you.
