Minecraft Name:iOrbit Suggestion: Add a Auction plugin called "iAuction" Reason: It would solve some of our problems. First of all, I want to say, that, this is a extremely easy way of auctioning you're stuff and it won't be a problem to new players. The thing I like most about this plugin is that it would prevent scamming by all ways. This would also stop players auctioning over and over other player auctions. Each user would have to wait for the auction to end to start another one. False building isn't a issue anymore, too.With this plugin you can prevent all these things, simple. Let's say I want to auction 1 diamond for $50 and I want the auction to take 30 seconds (Max time can be changed to prevent infinite auctions and trolling) I type " /auction start [Time] $50 1 Diamond.This would start a auction that would last 30 seconds for 1 diamond starting at $50. Users would have to type /auction bid 60 to bid on it, no false building is possible.If they win the auction they automatically get the diamond and the the User who started the auction the money. I know how this auction works, and it's ok. But I feel it's much easier to manually auction items, and then we don't have another plugin we have to worry about. I mean, sometimes it's just better if our community actually interacts rather then andrew installing a plugin which would make even less interaction and trust between us.
That is indeed a good point, but, I think this would solve a lot of problems and would be a lot more beneficial.
Having not used the plugin, can it handle more rare items? For example, if I wanted to auction off an enchanted sword. What if I were auctioning off perms to a farm? I'd imagine those wouldn't work with the plugin, so we'd have to have two auction systems running at the same time - our current system and the plugin system. This would be confusing and would lead to more chatter clogging our screens. Good thought though.
