Is it worth coming back to ECC? Any close friends who are still around? What has changed since I left? Is the server still pay to win (for the most part), or is legitimate playing a thing now (meaning you can earn more than 25k/h and you don't need to steal your parents credit Card to thrive)?
Right now SG is pretty much the only thing that's pay to win. Mining and some types of farming can still be done the same without features. A lot has Changed, but for the better.
There isn't anything you can make 25k an hour at, that I know of, but the closest would probably be mining with an EFF7 at about 20k per hour. Yes, it is easier to make money with donations, but it isn't that big of a difference without the donations, if you put in the same amount of work. If you want to stay away from pay2win, stay away from SG in my opinion. In SG donations=little effort+lots of money whereas no-donations=lots of effort+little money. Also, a lot of *old* players from 2011 have been coming back recently. for example, wolvie and kolipoli. Not sure who your old friends were though (besides me )
Be realistic - No one likes pay2win. Yes, people are against having everyone use features that they paid for, but almost everyone doesn't like more pay2win. For example, if they made /own a donation feature for donators only, a ton of people would complain.
What I mean by pay2win is the fact that people can sell features for ECD, as for SG it really isn't pay2win, since you may have loads of kits but someone with no kits but highly PvP skilled can easily win against you. The one thing I hate about this server is the fact that even though I may work my ass off to get 50k, someone who is wealthy IRL can just achieve a bigger balance so easily. Ehh, the server still has pay2win where BFR'ers pretty much rek non-kitters, although no kit chances are higher then before.
In that case, yes, it is still pay2win, since we still allow the selling of donations for ECD. It's about 6-7k/$1 right now. I don't think that will ever change, nor would I want it to, since I have bought all of my donations from players, and would have little to none if we did not allow this.
You can make 25k/hr with high herb farming nwart, or more. You can also get alot from SG'ing with kits, eg 3point probably gets around 20-30k an hour from sg.
On any server people could sell features to make money, so we can't really do anything about that. SG was really pay-to-win but now with some changes it isn't that bad anymore
