Hello, My name is Airbornehurdle and I'm new in this server and I just bought Minecraft in the PC last Sunday so I might be in the wrong section of the forum to post this question. Ok, my question is when I enter and a gate, land is in Flatland. I know other Eco servers don't have Flatlands but I can't get any resources in Flatland so why is every gate is in Flatland? P.S. Does anybody know what town or gate should i go to?
Hello Airbornhurdle, It's quite easy to gather materials here on our server, as you get a starter kit once you first join. From that you can join the mining world, and go mine. With those mining minerals, you can sell to the server for money, and then buy other items from the player shops and the server itself. What I suggest you do is that you go and mine with your starter kit, and keep selling the minerals you get. With the money you earn from selling things to other players and the server itself, you can buy other things, such as food and blocks all around spawn, or in the player shops. One other good way to make money is asking for jobs in "/ch tr". Here you can ask for something to do, and in return, other users will pay you to do the jobs for them. Such as mining, placing dirt, building, etc. Once you get around $1,000, you can go and buy a 10x10 plot from a protected town. In towns, other users cannot grief, so your belonging should be safe. A good way to get knowledge about the server, which will be a lot beneficial and help you forever. Is reading the EcoCityCraft wiki. Here in ECC we have a dedicated wiki to explain everything about the server to newcomers like you. It's really easy to understand, and in a few minutes you will get to know everything you need about the server. This will help you be more successful on the server. Don't forget to vote. You get nether stars and in-game money when you vote. You can sell the nether stars for a lot of money, and doing so will get you your first bucks on the server to get you moving. Voting in all websites only once, and selling the nether stars should be more than enough to buy your first plot. A lot of users, mainly Staff though, will help you loads, and even give you free stuff to get you started. So, be in the look out for Staff and be sure to ask them for help anytime.
