Minecraft Name: Max_hutchinson Suggestion: Adding string and sticks to hunger games Reason: I say add string and sticks so everyone can make a bow if they have both of them and for a twist you need to find a Crafting Table. I have seen alot of crafting tables in the hunger games that could be used for this. Any Other Information: Well with all these new people getting kits it seems not fair for the people without them and this will add alittle new spice to the making. Then after making the bow you need arrows. This also seems right for the people that don't have donations because all the stuff they have to go though just to make it.
+1 and -1. Nothing personal, but I dont much use bows. I honestly hate them. Everyone would be running around wirth bows. Maybe A rare chance to find one. Alot of the Chests are empty, and it could be cool if it was a rare chance.
A normal bow would even things up a bit and allow for more of a variety of play style. As of now, only kit donators have a consistent access to bows at the moment. The fact that they aren't enchanted keeps the kit donators at the advantage so that their donations do not seem to be wasted. Overall I will +1 this.
I donated for a kit mostly so I could get a bow. However, I see the reasoning behind adding bows as a rare chance, maybe as rare as golden apples or ender pearls. If bows would to common it would ruin the combat of sg and everyone would just use a bow until they ran out of arrows. You must remember how powerful a bow is on someone with leather and gold armor. Arrows are really common so I don't think many would get a shortage of arrows. I think bows should be added and the chance of arrows should be lowered. This would force you to have to tactically use your bow as you wont have many arrows to fire, and would stop sg becoming bow fights.
I was thinking of having sticks and string to be on the lines of being rare like you said . Having the chances of getting them both very rare will add to how hard it is to make them because even after you find the sticks and string you will have to find a crafting table. I think the hardship of actually go to make a bow is fair in a sg because they are using there own time in make one weapon. And you still have to find 3 sticks and 3 string to make a bow.
+1. Although many probably don't know it, Fishing Rods can be just as deadly as a bow, if used correctly. Adding this will result in the option of both a bow, and a Fishing Rod. D0rc would know.
+1 i love this idea, i have tons of arrows I'm a pretty good sniper but never have any fighting chance when a donator joins the SG games!!
This doesn't even scratch the surface... Players, unlike mobs, cannot be pulled back by the rod...I devised a slightly different use for them... :3
Yeah even though that you can make a fishing rod or a bow it is still a good survive choice that you can make. I don't know if its hard or easy to add but it would be nice if this could be add to the hunger games.
