Over the past year and some change, I have seen the server population go down. This worried me, and I thought: Is the server dying? Now I know the server was fine just a few months ago, But with the EULA terms, I'm really scared Ecc just won't be able to pay for it's maintenance and stuff. How is Andrew gonna pay for this stuff?
Andrew has stated that the server will be fine for years to come. We have plenty of money saved up from features purchased in the past, I wouldn't worry if I were you. Many creative, EULA compliant features are being thought of and added - that combined with a dedicated Server Owner and Staff team, we'll be fine.

Also seriously... just because we only have say 100 active players in total- doesn't mean the server is dying as long as though players are dedicated and consistently active.
Since some servers have been shut down by Eula, I wonder if ecc will see more players moving from other servers.

With reference to the 100 or so active players being a sound platform, this is true, and that excludes pass through players who touch base, support and move on as per the habits of MineCrafters.

Okay, First off, I am an idiot. If anyone sees I posted a thread after 11:00 Central time, Immediately disregard it if it seems stupid. Heck, Once I necro(ed?) a 2+ year old thread for the heck of it at like 12:00 at night. Honestly the player count has gone down but it doesn't matter, and the EULA may lower income but I'm sure ECC will be fine. That's also the reason I haven't replied to this thread because I knew it was complete garbage when I woke up the next morning.
