~*~Sportsbook Tutorial~*~ Well i started with $130k and now i'm at $705k and that number is growing everyday. Let me teach you how you could do the same. Be Okay With Losing Expect the unexpected, you have to understand that the team you choose might lose and you must be okay with losing because if you go in and thinking you are going to win "no matter what" is kind of pointless, luck is not real and you must know that there will be a chance for you to lose your money, and if you do lose your money, you wont feel as bad as you think because you were prepared for it. Friends & Research Have a friend who is good at understanding teams on games so if you have a friend ask them "who should i bet on?" they can help you with that. I don't really know much about these sports but i do some research and ask someone i know who is good with these kinds of things, it can be a great outcome for you. Trust Your Gut One of the most important things is trust your gut.. many people don't do this but its important if your not sure that a team will win don't bet on them even if other people are doing it. People are losing money because they think someone puts in $1M and should bet all the money on that team, because this dude did it. Follow The Leader If you find someone who always wins at sport gambling then bet on whatever team they bet on. I think this is one of the great ways for people who just started and not know much about sports. Its really simple and you don't have to put a lot of effort into it just prepare the cash. May The Odds Be In Your Favor Another tactic i use is look at the odds. If the team has a smaller odds, for example 0.69 and the other has 0.83 its most likely that the team with 0.69 has a higher chance of winning and the server don't want to pay too much if you win. Sports has all kinds of surprises you will never know who will win and what will happen. ***WARNING: i don't really recommend this*** ALL IN If you are positive that a team will win... go ALL IN on that team, this is what i do everyday and its been going great! this is the strategy i use a lot. remember to always trust your gut!! don't ignore it or you will be in big trouble. Might want to add: Expect the unexpected. I lost 300k on the Anaheim Ducks last night, partly due to a miscalculation, and partly due to an upset. It happens. Therefore, don't expect to win and count your chickens before they hatch. Always count after and make plans from there. Otherwise, good tutorial lapking! EDIT: saw it in the first paragraph, my bad. But, my example is just one of many ways to describe that
Thanks for this lapkingkn. I've never really been a betting man, but think that this addition to the forums is great. I've already won 3 of my 6 wagers and I must say there were a few upsets haha! But some great advice in here!
Honestly, congrats, but All those points are null and void, May i see your portfolio of wins and losses, Cause from a brief look though bets, you just simply bet big on games which have a very one sided winner. Thats not hard to simply put a lot of money onto a sure favourite. I havent found all your winnings, but i found 2 just looking at 1 sided match ups which account for more then half your profit
Oh, I'm not meaning upsets as in one sided being beaten I meant as in, I put money on Ottawa Senators to win last night and they were beaten in the penalty shootout is all. That's what I meant! Sorry!
