    Hello miners of Ecocitycraft!
If you have an Eff7 then you probably know how powerful they are.
If not then just know they insta-break stone like a pumpkin axe insta-breaks pumpkins

    Ya its crazy I know.

Anyways with that being said the way to mine with an Eff7 is VERY unconventional.
It is based off of my own experience of trying:
    2 high tunnel mining
    3x3 tunnel w/ 2x1 branch mining
And the method I am about to explain

That I have learned the key to making the most money with an Eff7!!!
Now to elaborate how to perform this method....

    Its a very simple method.
First head down to your preferred Y lvl.
Then mine in a 2x1 tunnel.
Then let your hand have a spasm of sorts.
Literally thats the best way to describe it.
let your pick glide up, left and right as you mine
It allows you to view a larger area of ores while at the same time maintaining your speed (more or less)

If you would like some elaboration on this please reply and I'll see if i cant create some kind of video tutorial or picture tutorial.

    Happy mining!

How much do you make per hour? I pull in 20k or so using the classic 2x1 tunnel.

Not sure if you could call it a 'correct' way, but perhaps a more efficient way. Anywho I don't necessarily mine like that, there are many different ways of mining that will most certainly bring in profit.

Never tried this before, I usually just stick to my 2x1 tunnel. I'll give it a shot later on and see how it does.

his description is a little weird, but i think he does something similar to what I do. Basically sweep side to side as you inch forward. You break more blocks/second this way and the # of blocks/second is tied directly to number of ores revealed and $$/hour.

I do this, but don't make the 2x1 tunnel the first time.

I don't find 2x1 tunnels efficient with eff7's as you're basically missing all the ores around you.

2x1 tunnel, move the right 3 blocks, another 2x1 tunnel, another 3 blocks to the right, another 2x1 tunnel. Basically a 2 block wall gap between the tunnels, this can clear out a certain Y level. This is proven to be the most efficient way of mining.

True for eff 5 mining, but not eff 7

I still do this with my eff 7 (on the rare occasions when I actually try to make money) and pull out 21k on average.

Last time I tested I was close to 30k/hour.

yeah, that does shorten the time it takes me to break ores a lot.

efficiently breaking ores is a big deal.

Believe it or not, farming is where it is at.

    Mining is pointless .

I have a few methods in which I mine, but to to start I will only mention one of my main ones. Also I have mcmmobonusplus 1,2,3 and 1000 mining and fly+ extcommands++ so my fortune mining on ores is nice. I mine out y:9-12, but generally I mine out 2x2 tunnels in a circular motion which reveals plenty of ores and at speed 10 I never get resistance. I am also not one so silk ores at all (unless I am purposely saving ores to sell as such) I always fort them then use /wb to craft into blocks then toss into /eec. Mind you I only do this once my inventory is full of the ingot types. I have stone set to /pt sell hand so stone is usually in my last slot on my main inventory.

I am not one to shy away from excavating dirt, so I do this as well for all the drops that it offers and the revealed ores that would normally be missed. As a moderator I do get distracted by my duties sometimes which can slow progress but this isn't too much of a factor. Also on a good hour of mining remember that things like lava pits, and lakes get in the way as well which can slow down mining unless you just turn corners but even then I may have to /wild land and start again.

Overall including the excavating I do and the not avoidance of coal like many other miners feel is necessary (which I highly disagree with) I can walk away with about 25-35k worth of material ores etc and glowstone and possibly even more since I only sell through my shop per hour. These totals also include /sell hand materials such as dirt, stone, cocoa beans, mushrooms, music discs etc (all dirt drops). Lastly 2x1 tunnels are best reserved to pre-eff 7 miners, otherwise you are wasting your time and cutting your profits at least by 33%.

*p.s.* I forgot to mention exp is back on for mining ores so that can factor into monetary totals as well for some, personally I use the exp for personal enchantments, but you can definitely tack on another 1-3k per hour onto the totals made depending on how much you are willing to give exp away for and how you sell it.
