FINAL ANALYSIS: I made $196,444.61 in 6 days purely generated from my shop and nothing else. Pro-rated to 1 week, I estimate that I make $229,185.38 per week from my shop. Subtract 5K for the rental fee, and you have roughly 225k per week (if you want a nicer, round number). I honestly was expecting 50k per week, so I am pretty excited about this. Here is a link to the spreadsheet I used to audit myself each night: http://tinyurl.com/mqyccjk Original Post: I decided to track everything in my spawnshop for 1 week, and see how much money I make. I also will track how much time I spend fiddling with my shop (restocking, making new signs, etc). When calculating the value of my stock, I use the price that I could easily sell it for. In some cases this is the /sell hand price. In others, it is the price that I can sell it to another shop at the market or the price that I think it would sell quickly in Trade Chat. In any case, I will be using the same values for the beginning and ending audits, so it doesn't really matter. Day 1 audit complete. $19,401.35 made, from 12 minutes of work maintaining the shop. If every day of the week were like this, the shop would make 135,809.45 per week. ***500th post!***
Yes. If I buy something to restock my shop, I factor that into the numbers. My balance goes down and the value of my inventory goes up. If I spend money on a non-shop expense like building a farm, I do not count that into the calculations. Similarly, if I gain money from mining or from voting for nether stars, I do not count that into the calculations.
I will post the spreadsheet at the end of the week (tonight?) for more details, if anyone wants them.
oh YES! Really want to see that spreadsheet! Thanks Again for sharing and for all the work. If you decide to sell the spreadsheet I'm a buyer!
well, i did a 30,000 block digging job and lost track of how much i sold/made from that. so Day 7 will not be accurate and i'm not going to add it up. I'll post my final analysis tomorrow.
How do you make so much money from your spawn shop?? I was given spawnshop 2 and I can hardly make 5k :/
3 reasons. 1. Location 2. Location 3. Location I changed my shop a lot and quit some markets, so I don't know if I still make this much.
