How do you tell if you've been greived?

I'm having a bit of a crisis, when I type /home bed into chat, I'm teleported to spawn every time without any message. Does that mean my bed was destroyed?

All of my stuff was in a locked chest right next to it. T_T

Alright, first of all, when you had your house, was it in a town or the wild? If its in the wild, sorry, but griefing in the wild is allowed. If it was in a town, here is the thread you post in:

    http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/forums/grief-report-rollback-requests.45/

Go here, find the layout, and find the coordinates of your grief. Shortly afterwards, a SuperMod will check it out and see if the grief is bannable or the grief could need a rollback (a rollback is something where if someone griefs quite a lot of damage, a SMod can select the player and turn back any destruction that the player did).

If you are having this problem, odds are your /home bed was removed. Sorry bud.

Try moving to a town,..... That way you cant get griefed. Also dont build too close to the surface, and not at bedrock. About the 20-30 block level is where people dont mine so often...

You are correct, your bed has been destroyed :( If its in the wild ... hope you roughly know where it was so you can return but Itsa is correct, nothing you can do about it. In a town you can file a grief report at least.

If your not in a town, you should definitely look for somebody selling plots or apartments. Voting for one day is enough money for a 10x10 with a couple hundred left over. One nice thing is, even though you are still not immune to your bed being broken, many towns have portals or members who can teleport you back if something like this happens again. Also look into KMaxwell's Freecycle program. She will get you donated enchanted tools for free! Should help the sting of potentially losing your stuff easier.

Thanks everyone! It was in the wilderness, but I wasn't looking for any sort of rollback because I know that it's allowed out there. I just wanted closure so I could move on and stop typing /home bed every 30 minutes hoping it was just a bug. >.<

The thing is I never got a message about my bed being destroyed which is what threw me, I would get taken back to spawn as If i had typed in /spawn instead.

That looks really awesome, thanks! I'll defonitly give it a shot, but it does look pretty overwhelming, and I don't know what world it was in. >.<

In the wild, don't use a bed as your homepoint. just use your '/home' as your homepoint. I would use the bed as a temporary homepoint -- like use it to hold the place where you left off mining.

OH!!!! One more thing, make your house in a cave... Make sure YOU made the cave, and it doens't connect to other caves.... Then pour lava ALLL around your house, that way x-rayers will see a big flow of lava and stay away! Just some food for thought....
