Pshh.. Farming!?! I make my money selling SkyFarm and MegaFarm perms. I also do some SG's and e-repairs/anvil combos. Pf course there are other thigs but those are the ways I make the most money.
Farming sort of. I get a lot of money by doing odd jobs for people and by saving my nether stars until the buying price is relatively high, then I sell them in bulk
Most of my money now comes from my spawnshop, but I also make a lot from mining and selling enchanted items.
I made so much from lotto, then again I lost so much from lotto. Lottery is a great way to make quick money and a lot of it over a few days.
i get most of my money by selling maxed out tools but i also mine a bit (with eff5 unfortunately) and i sell a few plots here and there
I enjoy mining, so I do that just about every night without fail. I used to farm, but with the prices as low as they are with all the adjustments to the tools, I pretty much farm on the side. I would say 60% mining, 30% farming, and 10% services/trade. I try not to stick one thing for too long to avoid boredom. I may have 5 towns I am mayor/owner of, but I have never sold a single plot/perm. I, also, have never owned a spawnshop. I don't plan on selling perms for another few months until I get things where I would like them. As far as a spawnshop, I have been eyeing one for a about a month now, but I just don't have the money for it. It isn't in the budget. I think after I get my next donation, then a portal, I might get one, just for the kicks. I don't see how it could realistically make back the money it costs though. I also do what steveshizzle does and watch the fluctuations of the nstar market and sell in bulk when they get high. (Kind of like now). $360/star is pretty good.
Emau Just as confirmation, I bought a spawnshop just for kicks like you were thinking about. I didnt expect it to make much money, but, after advertising it, I realized it had been making much more than I planned on it to make. I ended up profiting an estimated 80,000-100,000 in the 1 month I owned it. So, I do recommend purchasing one.
I shop around and buy cheap items to sell for profit. Depending on how low the price is, the greater the profit I get. I earn about 90% of my money this way.
Farming is boring, I guess the best ways to earn money in this game is manual labor, no skills like managing, accounting, trading, and production.
