How did you make your money while you were/are builder? How long ago was this? When I joined it was the beginning of november (my forum date is dec. 8th). I remember begging for a diamond for about 30 minutes, and to shut me up, someone gave me one (lol). I found the market portal and, with my diamond, went through to sell it. The portal glitched and i fell to the void and died. I lost my diamond and was close to logging off when i found a fishing rod laying on the ground. I went and fished for a while and made 1k (fish were $50 per at the time). I bought a plot in the town Panem and I made a very small underground farm. It was only 5x2 or something like that. I decided fishing was boring, so I got VTFAN8 to build me a farm. He built a 10x10 wheat farm. I later expanded to a 5x15 tacky underground cane farm. I then met a friend, Noahlee159, and he gave me 150. I played a bit in his casino and got around 550. Later on I bought a pick, mined, and bought resident. That's my story!
Way back in the day, I made money as a builder by cactus farming and selling wood... But then everything was wiped and there was a new map, so I farmed flowers and went mining. There weren't things like pumpkins and melons, or netherwart and cocoa... Sugarcane sort of worked at that time, and automatic wheat farms.
Hmm... lets see... From the beginning... I was always focused on becoming rich. Don't ask me why, cause who doesn't want money on an economy server? xD I am not proud to admit, I had no idea how economy servers worked. I got scammed a total of 300k+, but was finally able to gather 500k for a melon sword. After that... farming... farming some more... the occasional sg... more farming. I never lotto'ed a lot. I was conservative when it came to my money. But after all the work... I now have 400k in my bal a melon sword, and 200 ish dollars in donation features. I haven't played in 2 months or so so I have forgotten. I will be coming back to ecc soon hopefully <3
When I joined the server I spent about an hour looking at signs and exploring spawn. I asked in trade chat for a plot, and immediately after started mining. First with my /kit starter, I mined. After obtaining some iron and coal, made about a single-chests worth of iron tools. I proceeded to continue mining. After finding gold, diamonds, and etc. I began storing it away. My plot became a storage unit, housing a wide variety of materials, iron blocks being the most abundant. I sold off almost all of it to server and some to Revan, who was using it for her Normandy project. I should also note that for the first two weeks of my time on the server, I didn't realize "/repair" was a thing. So I destroyed a few dchests of diamond tools. Hooray!
Let's see... When I started, I mainly went mining. I got lucky and won an auction of a free resident. After I got resident, I mainly went Pump Farming.
