Hello people. In this thread you can tell us how you first found out about ECC. My story. I was at a friends place when he suddently showed me this new Minecraft server, i thought it looked boring. Just simply chop the other pumpkin down after the other one. Anyways, i gave it a try. And i must seem to like it since im staying here - Whats you'r story?
I just found this server on this website, I thought i would go on it, I did not go on it for a long time, after getting banned from [Mod edit], I made this my home server! SICK SERVER
This, but minecraft-server-list.com instead. This was the first server i could just go build somewhere, not have to pass any tests beforehand
My brother had just gotten into minecraft, and wanted to find a cool server to play on. He found this and bought a house, using my account. I then forced him to buy his own account, 'cause I wanted to play here instead, and use my own account.
I was interested in playing on a server more long term so I looked on one of the server ranking sites and found ECC. ECC sounded fun so I joined. It is a bit confusing when you first join the server but I will willing to give ECC a chance so I looked at the wiki and decided to try and become a resident, 4-5 days later I was a resident.
I had become a MOd on a different server, but became disillusioned with the Upper Staff (ie: Server Owner & Server Admins) not seeming want to do anything to improve the server. Quit Mod duties and started PMing the moderators that I respected for possible replacement "playgrounds"... and one of them played here for a while. I tried it out..and have been here since
I was getting bored of single player, so I went on Planet Minecraft. I saw this one and liked it because of the economy part. It gave me a goal to work towards.
After playing minecraft on single player for about 3 months i realized that there were servers! So i googled "Minecraft servers" and i clicked on the first link and it showed a list of servers and ecocitycraft sounded interesting so i decided to try it out and it ended up being epic so i stayed.
I first started playing on my friend's private server about a year ago. One day I really wanted to play but his server was offline, so I took to the internet to find a new server which I could use when his wasn't online. After a few terrible experiences on some of the first servers I found, I quickly found ECC, and have played here ever since.
Long ago, in a land not very far away, I found EcoCityCraft... Was a brand new (..I think) thread made on the Minecraft forums. Barely 10 people were active on the server at that time. Peak was late afternoon/evening with a lucky 20 people. Though, I think I saw mention of EcoCityCraft elsewhere from google searches, then found the MC forum thread. 0-o
I was eating chocolate cake and looking for a server that didnt utterly fail at life, after like the 80th server i tried i found this one, then decided that this one was uber at everything so i stayed and now im a mayor :mrgreen:
