Because of horses' rarity and utility, most players who have one will name it with nametags. But what's to keep two people from using the same name? This thread, hopefully! This thread could also help keep down horse theft, as it keeps track of horse owners as well! Please register your horse with the format below, whether or not it has a name:

Screenshots show what the horse looks like and gives proof of existence, and is therefore required. Think of it as a profile picture for your horse, so make it good (but unedited)! Due to network restrictions here, I can only take images from imgur.com. Sorry. If someone uncool is trying to claim your horse as their own, dispute it!

If you sell your horse or otherwise transfer ownership, please fill out the following in a reply:

Twitch, if you get a nametag for your horse, say so here.

 

You can have the same name as another horse, as the screenshot will help differentiate it. If you wanted a unique name, you could check here. Of course, this can't keep you from naming it what you want.
