It is possible for players to glitch through walls to get to your horse. It is possible for players to steal saddles and horse armor from horses. It should not be possible for players to mount the horse and log out to take it with them. It should not be possible for players to put your horse on a lead and cause it to take fall damage. Those two things should be able to be stopped with coding. The server has advertised that horses are invincible. If they can die from fall damage they are not invincible. I have my horse in a 200x200 town with blocks surrounding the entire area from glass ceiling to bedrock. I believed that it was safe. Tdogg120 came to "ride" it and put a lead on it taking it into the air and letting it fall. Luckily I stopped him in time. If my horse was actually invincible it would be fine if a player came to ride it. As it stands I had to put it in a Glass box double thick. That is no way for a digital horse to live. The server needs to address this issue because it is making good-hearted players not want to be on ecc. As i see it, make the entitiy stay even if the player logs. And protect the horse from fall damage so it is truly invincible. Then my horse named Sheep can roam free at PvpIsland. Thanks, Sheep_mage This possibly should be in Suggestions. ;/
From what I've seen, horses are actually invincible to fall damage, not sure when that went into effect, but it has happened. No stupid horse stealing rule is making good hearted people to leave the server, that's just a hugely gross overstatement. Now, while someone is riding a horse nobody else should be able to lead it, that much I can agree with, but to attempt to force some sort of horse regulations on people is neither feasible nor favorable. Coming on this forum to complain about petty thievery isn't going to get the rule changed, it's just too hard to track them.
my horse died from fall damage once and then I bought a new one from tdogg and while I was taking him home Tdogg had to "watch a movie" and logged off. I said cya and kept going with my horse, about 20 mins later im leading my horse and POOF its gone. I didn't know tdogg did this to other people and now I am aware. don't buy or let tdogg NEAR your horse.
