Past month or so I have been getting the worst ping ever to EcoCityCraft (ever since we had those big outages). http://beta.speedtest.net/result/4965532609 My internet is really fast and always gets low pings, except to the server. Any help?
^This isn't an ECC/Minecraft issue. Anyway, it's your internet connection - ECC is fine for me in terms of ping and such. Speedtest is known for being horrendously inaccurate as it really just measures how close you are from the location where the speedtest is connecting - Not your internet speed in general. There's really nothing ECC can do as far as this issue goes.
To an ISP, 23ms ping is quite poor. http://beta.speedtest.net/result/4964752402 But as said. This is not something we can troubleshoot for you. I'd advise you contact your ISP
More than maybe. It's a common troubleshooting question. "Do other things connected to this have the same issue?" The answer is no, so it's not ECC's fault.
Please provide an MTR to mc.ecocitycraft.com from the computer you use to play ECC on. 1. http://winmtr.net/download-winmtr/ 2. Click start with mc.ecocitycraft.com http://i.imgur.com/ShYfsme.png 3. Export TEXT after running for 15 minutes. 4. Paste the text with www.pastie.org and link us to it.
That's not ping to his ISP it's ping to a nearby speed test host. I myself get over 40ms with various hosts around me.
Hi andrew, i've been having really bad ping too recently, I don't know if it's just because we live far away but it's not usually as bad as it is just now. Are you able tohelp me?
Having the same problem for the last days - a tracert of the windows console came to the conclusion that the last hop from the US to Staminus was responsible for ~60% of the ping although it was only one of 7 hops. It might be related, or not since Jacob's connection seems to be more even.
Ping still sucks but the server actually seems to be more responsive now. In the last couple days the slow loading and glitches seem to happen less.
