Hi im new.

I recommend mining in the wild, then buying a plot in a town that has a pumpkin farm. Pumpkin farming is the best way to make money.

 

Anyone who a actually posts prior to getting on the server can join my town.

Will arrange something with you if we can meet up in game.

Go through a build portal, they take you to the wild land so you can mine. Also, the Mining World is for the ranks Residents+

 

Wait, for someone new to the server, new to the forums and hasn't even played the game yet how do u know of the main world versus the mining world? This sounds kinda fishy

 

1. Once in game, type /pm endoric hey im that guy you said could join your town!

2. There are many portals around right when you spawn. The gold one goes to where you can buy things, theones surrounded by stone halfblocks go to corners and sides of map, and the ones surrounded by wood are build portals to areas you can mine

Also, if you want to make a quick $500 as soon as you get in the game, there is a section on this website to vote, and if you vote on votes one and two, you will recieve $500 and 32 pork chops. Make sure you are logges in while you vote or it wont work

Also, as soon as you log in, type /kit starter

Also, be aware that you can NOT die from hunger on this server, you will lose health, but at about 4 hearts you wont lose anymore, so dont worry too mucb about food

Joining a town is basically the mayor/president giving you permission to build in the town by adding you to the permission list.

Read the signs, gold trimmed portal has the town portals. Explore the towns, mine in he wild, those are he wood trimmed portals.

Posting before even entering the server shows that you will put effort in your work an that you are indeed a had working person. My congratulations. I see you're already arranged with a plot, but if you need any kind of help in-game, /tell shadow_sock hi there, need your help, and i will do my best. This kind of iniciatives must be enforced people, im sure in a few months this we will be seeing this player as a respected president or mayor. Just an advice to new players: dont buy the lottery xd... that is only for rich players and can take away all of the less experienced players's money, and if you do buy the lot, check if a player named hokingyeung is online. Couse if he is, dont buy tickets! xd

 

I am really skeptical its a new person and not just someone who got banned for xraying and starting up a new account here. How did you hear about the server? Ya they could have friends who play here etc but they didn't mention any or what brought them to the server.

On the very off chance you are as new as you claim to be.....

type /kit starter and press enter, this will give you some items to get you started. For the quickest start go thru a wild build portal, you will see portals around you at spawn, they are labeled, take a wild build portal and once there you can setup shop doing a little mining etc. Before even logging in the server I reccommend reading the ecocity wiki which will give you valuable server/chat commands, application process, info about the wild and living in towns. When you setup in the wild even if its only for a short period till joining a town remember to do /cprivate and lock all your chests. Otherwise someone will loot and possibly take the chest itself as well. That will get you started and not robbed. Read the wiki, know the rules, know the commands and you will be ahead of 95% of the ones that join, even with friends. Don't x-ray, scam, etc.

 

x-ray is a texture pack or mod (not sure, fairly new to mc myself) and it is banned from the server. many people try to get away with x-raying, but the moderators will find you. also, welcome to ecocitycraft . This wasnt my "first" server, but it was the first server i could understand and i ended up loving it. coming to ecc was a great choice and i look forward to seeing you in-game!
