Hi, and welcome! The main goal of ECC is to earn money to rank up and build towns. We have a shop database that you can use to find out who is buying or selling an item for the best price. We also recently introduced a new jobs system that allows you to earn additional money from activities like mining or farming. There is a detailed in-game guide available with the "/helpme" commands that link to various Wiki pages. If you have any additional questions about some aspects of ECC, feel free to ask either here or in in-game global chat, we're generally a very friendly community.

Welcome! We're very centered around economy and community, you will find that many of us have been around for years. This coming march will be 14 years online! That is one of the cool things about ECC. Uptime and the strength of the community. People come and go but usually return and pop in all the time no matter what. The economy is also focused more on personal achievement and leveling up your account, getting access to better tools, better jobs and focuses on time and effort to progressing in the game. You won't find a lot of automation or big autofarms that generate tons of cash with very little effort. You will find we have tons of custom content and the learning curve can be quite steep. But don't let that put you off, you are very welcome here and I'm always available for any questions you may have.
Things that come to my mind first. - Mining world resets monthly so don’t build anything there with the intention of long term usage. - Get to mining world with /warp mining, you can then go to a random spot with /rtp - There’s a small food spawner setup directly inside of mining world right now. - Join a town so you can get a plot to build a house on, essentially just so you can store stuff in chests with not worrying about resets or losing anything. - Use /lock to lock chests, furnaces, signs, etc While often overlooked early on you will find that the wiki is a great resource for finding answers. Naturally most people on this server are not toxic and are always willing to help if you ask in chat also. Specifically once you get enchanted tools, you will want to have those repaired when durability gets low.
