When in a mcmmo party, the herbalism skill seems to be bugged. I (the leader of the party) am having no trouble getting exp when I farm solo and exp from when I farm with someone in my party (@LarocsShadow). However, @LarocsShadow is getting no exp when he farms either solo or next to me. I am getting exp from him farming (Exp share is set to equal). His skill bar is popping up but does not move. All other skills seem to be working fine. Him leaving the party allowed him to get exp on his own, but rejoining causes the same problem. Basically, herbalism seems bugged for those not owner of the party.
just a quickie to check. this is personal experience, and may not be exact, but make sure if they are using a tool to farm it's the right one. ie: hands or hoe. I noticed the pick tends not to give any mcmmo exp for farming, but the shovel and shears do.
are u both unvanished? and in a party leveled up enough to share exp? is exp share turned on in the party also?
Neither of us are in vanish, party is set to exp share equal. All of the other skills are working fine, it is just herbalism that is not giving proper exp. @Lopporit helped us out in game to see if we could fix it, so they saw it and might be able to explain better.
all good, was just doing the whole "have u tried turnning it off and on again" script to make sure it wasnt something that could be easily overlooked thanks for checking this anyway - hopefully this will get a hot fix soon
Looks like this is only an issue with the herbalism skill. Looks like when /party xpshare is toggled to "equal" no one earns herbalism exp when farming, when its set to "none" players earn herbalism exp individually just fine. Testing party xpshare on Mining/Excavation proves it still works normally.
I've reported this to the mcMMO developer. We are now awaiting a fix. I will provide an update as soon as one is available.
