Hey, I haven't been on this server in awhile so I'm not sure if there was a reset or something. All of my /home commands disappeared and I think my money did too because I don't remember having $0 ecodollars, though not 100% sure since it has been awhile. I have no idea what went on and any clarity to the situation would be extremely helpful!

Oh, one more question. Is there still a live map or some old version of the map so I would be able to find the coordinates of my towns? It has been some time so I am not sure where they are.
Live map - no. If you still remember the town names, you can do /rg i <Townname> to find their coords. HOw long were you gone?
Allow me to help you, as someone who been on the journey that you apparently are just starting For IRL reasons, I was away from ECC for 18 months. Before I left in Jan '13, there were quite a few towns that were abandoned by players who were no longer active. After I left, ECC created a new system in that if a town owner was inactive for 6+ months, a Tycoon or higher rank is allowed to "claim" an existing town and everything in it. The good part is a lot of the abandoned towns were re-activated. The bad part is for those of us that actually return Now, I'm not sure if that rule was in place before you went inactive, or if you were gone more than 6 months. If you WERE gone that long, you may not have towns anymore. From someone that is not (nor ever been) on Staff, this is what you may experience: -Balance = $0 -Any towns may have been claimed. Since one of the rules is you must be notified before claiming, check your website mail / messages. -Any LWCs may have been removed. I can say I had 6 left in somewhere in someone else's town that did not apply to have them removed, so they were as I left them. -Any items you were carrying (inventory) are more than likely gone. -Any features you bought will still work, but double check them. Anything missing features can be re-instated by asking Staff who you should communicate with. -You are a President (like I was) when you left. This means you had (or may still have) at least 2 towns. If you sold them, had them claimed away from you, or still possess them, your next town purchase is based on how many you've EVER claimed (made 4 corner signs and applied for ownership of a Wild area). For example, both of my towns were claimed, leaving me with a President rank (and accompanying LWC levels), but no towns. My first (after returning) town cost $220k, not $85. Since you are usually collecting money from selling plots on your towns to pay for the following towns, being gone throws you "off the path". Have you ever just wanted to "start from scratch" and throw everything away? Congratulations! You just have Look up old friends, make some new ones, and start making money. Be wary of the new rules that were put in place during your "vacation", also there may be some new blocks / materials / crafting recipes that didn't previously exist, and PLEASE don't let your most heard reaction be "back in the OLD days, we could do 'xyz', why can't we don't that now?!?" Very informative response, thanks for the advice! There are definitely a lot of new things like trying to find where everything is now lol. It almost is like starting over except I do still have my towns so that is good news.
