When I first PMed someone, I typed /PM (player name) and I could chat with them and would type /ch g to get out of the Pm. But now I have to constantly type /Pm (player name) every time I send a message to them. Its really slowing down my message replies... Is that abnormal? Because I never used to have that problem. Like, I'll chat with my friend K1ttyKaT09 and if I dont type /PM K1ttyKaT09 before every message it goes to global automatically. But before, I would type /Pm K1ttyKaT09 and that was it, I could chat with her nonstop until i typed /ch g.
Trying doing this: Use the command: /pm <username> The type your message: "Hey bruh!" The chat should stay persisted.
If you are super lazy you can type /r instead of /pm, but I'm not sure it will work with the problem you are having. So for example I say "Hi!" to a user. They say "Hello!" back, then I go into /ch g (Global) and say something, when you type /r, you will be automatically talking to the person you LAST talked with.
I did that, that was what happened the first few times i pm'd someone. But now, if i do that, it will just go to global unless i type /PM (player name) with every message, even if I don't type /ch g.
you have tried doing /pm username and hit enter and then try talking to them again correct? @LimeCini
I can't seem to recreate this. If you do /pm <playername>, you continue to talk to that person until you change worlds or do /ch <whatever>. Is it possible you changed worlds?
No, I didnt. It's happened over the past few days i will be at home, or farming, and will not go out of my world, but it still does this. I will not type /ch g or /spawn, ect. and it will still go to Global chat unless in type /pm playername.
@LimeCini Have you tried using /msg <username> instead of /pm? (shouldn't be a difference, but might as well check)
Okay, I finally got it to work. I did /msg and it froze for a second before letting me msg normally once again. Thx for the help guys
