So, I'm not a COMPLETE noob or idiot, but I've not done a lot with minecraft other than ya know, play. I'd like to log into the aether file I downloaded from the server news post about aether being closed and wondered if someone could tell me how to use the "aether.rar" file.
You need to extract the aether file from the .rar into a folder in your .minecraft folder called 'saves'. Then when you log onto minecraft the map should come up in your single player world list
@GeorgiaMC thanks...kinda thought it would be zipped but dont recall coming across .rar before so thanks for that. Actually had to google how to extract it since my pc didnt recognize the extension. Followed.
