Okay so, I am having this problem in Minecraft where blocks would go invisible for a short period of time, and I was wondering if there was a way to fix that. If there is a way please tell me as soon as you see this! (if you know the solution to my problem). http://tinypic.com/r/sqt7o2/8 http://tinypic.com/r/20kvpz9/8
It is mainly caused by lag. Either from your internet connection or your computer not being able to keep up. This happened to me a lot before, and occasionally still. Try turning down some settings, like render distance to 5 or 6, and setting max frame rate to 20fps or so. If that doesn't do much turn down more visual settings, that's the beautiful thing about Optifine. Sent from my NX008HD8G using Tapatalk
Looks like normal chunk loading issues from slow connection. Usually when it gets bad for me, I change chunk loading settings with OptiFine and it - in concept, no idea about reality - "dumps memory" and chunks fix themselves. Someone once told me about alt-F3 (I think; maybe shift-F3), which does something similar by forcing every chunk to reload. Otherwise, it's probably your Internet being slow or connection to ECC is slow. There may be some client-side laggy items in those areas, too.
When I am building/removing things a lot of blocks just turn invisible, so I don't think it's the chunks loading
Those are "ghost blocks", it happens a lot when farming... If you right click where that block is it will reappear. Your client thinks you broke the block already but the server says no you didn't. Sent from my NX008HD8G using Tapatalk
Hmm I'm not sure then, sorry. Maybe reinstalling minecraft? That's up to you of course. Sent from my NX008HD8G using Tapatalk
