I dont like how you say "unfairly taken" it was explained to you why it was taken... but anywho im sorry to hear that this happened to you and i dont have any money myself, but im sure you will make the money and get those features again eventually!

 

I think its a little harsh. If I get some money off doing what I do ill buy you some giftcards for like 2k/USD + I use a NOT stolen one so it won't be rolled back

 

Not to be rude but, do you see any other threads of people complaining about having their features taken away. I feel empathy for those who lost the features but, I feel none for those who think they can beg and ask for donations to get them back. You don't need features to make money on this server. So go grab a pick, get to work, and earn those features again. This time I suggest using someone like eekelemo or pbrassat.

 

when ANYONE loses anything valuble, they will say something. There are TONS of posts like this. He lost 750k overnight, that's ALOT of money that took ALOT of time to get. He lost it not to his own fault, but to someone elses.
Anyone in their right mind would be upset after losing 1/2 their donations features, worth three quarters of a million

It's just my personal opinion. Yes, it is a terrible thing to happen, I agree with that. However, I do not support begging or asking for donations, which is the same thing in this instance. BTW you do know this is a hardcore economy server, right? Did you know the economy has risks? He took a risk, it floundered, and he lost tons of money. This happens all the time in the real world. And guess what. It takes people in the real world a lot more time to gather money than on here. I'm sure he has ways to make the money back.

 

I somewhat agree with SirSolo. You are not the only person to lose features from this - and there have been times in the past where this has happened, too. Many people lost even more features those past times, and not one asked/begged for people to help get them back.

Andrew lost money - he does every time this happens - so it is completely fair. If he let you and others keep their features, you would have free features (i.e. you gained, he lost; that is not fair trade). And although you lost in-game money, that is not nearly as important. Try looking at Andrew's side of things: He had to go through whatever mess was caused because of this; and he lost real life money.

Would you rather lose in-game features, or real life money? In-game money is infinite and can be made back; real life money is not infinite and takes a lot more work to make. As well, remember that Andrew has to pay bills to keep the server running.

I really do understand how upset you are at losing your features; I've had similar experiences that I had to adjust to. It really does suck, but asking for people to help you may cause people to look at you negatively, as the others who have also lost are not asking.

(Please do not take my post badly, as I am not trying to be mean or anything. :/)

 

I support you in asking for donations, it's your choice and people can offer donations as willingly as they choose to. However as some of the others have said, I do not agree with saying it's unfair. As Moofink wrote, AndrewKM has to deal with the IRL aspect of this and this is the most fair it will ever be. I'm sorry for your loss... I can't help out financially atm due to projects I am working on, but I will try to assist in any way I can if you ever need me to. Goodluck!

 

Yes it is, there have been cases like this before, andrew doesn't support selling donations, and these are the risks of this sadly.
