Hello I am wanting to change my Minecraft in game name via the Mojang service they offer on their website. I am already prepared to do this however I am slightly concerned regarding whether or not all of my in game possessions, my money, LWC chests and doors, properties etc. Will still be mine upon my next login and can be accessed by me. If any of you know the answer to this it would be most appreciated. Thanks :].
Your LWCs and possesions etc. should be fine. Trade signs, on the other hand, must be removed before changing your name. I believe there's a few other things, I'll get the link.
JUST DON'T CHANGE YOUR NAME TO A 3-DIGIT NUMBER NAME SUCH AS '443' AND YOU'LL BE ALRIGHT. You'll keep your money and LWCs. However, trade-signs won't carry over, so break all those before you change your name.
I feel offended. The announcement seems to have disappeared, so I am not sure whether this is still valid.
I've changed my name and everything now. My LWCs are all still fine, although my tools still have my old username on them for some reason but nevertheless everything seems to have went smoothly. :]
I read this a while ago, but I wonder... when exactly was this added? This has never happened to any of my tools so far. .-.
