My name is Alapon, and I'm joining this server and community, so I figured i'd make a small to post to show my good will towards this server! My real name is Gilles, i'm at the age of 24, and I'm a young chef in a hotel located in Belgium. I'm in a relationship for a while now with a girl I've met through Guild wars 2, she lives in the Netherlands and in the summer, we will move in together in the Netherlands. I'm a FTB Infinity Fan, I rent my own server there, wich is open to myself and a few friends, so if you want acces, start bribing me, there are no blocked items on it haha. My intrest for vanilla grew back over the months, 1.8 is like unreachable in FTB because of all those mods, and now with 1.9 the urge to join was bigger then ever. I'm used to beeing a builder, and in my old server I was also a person who made sure there even was an economy, making spawn shops, buildings, arena maps, launching a skyblock spawn, projects that kept me going. Because of all that, I went looking for an ecnomyserver, and I found this server, popular yet not overwhelmed, townies god I love towns they make you feel like you don't play alone, you casualy see ppl walking by! What i'm looking for on the server? An economy of course, and a big town/nation! I love beeing part of a big and active town, it motivates you to play more, it may make events, it's just great! So if you happen to own a active town, or nation, let me know! I'm quite a social person! I'm hoping to find a spot where I can build on plots, grow in wealth and knowledge, build some more without all to many town restrictions, on my old server, you had 1 plot, there you go build, but wait I want another plot? To bad you get one, there's the Wilderniss, wich was... bleh? Think that sums me up a bit.. If I missed anything, let me know! Hello! Another question might be, the server description tells you 'new servers soon' I assume that's for 1.9 that just arrived. Will this cause a server swipe? If so, I will hold off with my building haha.
@alapon there won't be a server wipe, since that would make a LOT of people angry. What the 'new servers' is refering to is our new hub, which will soon have different servers like skyblock and different mini games. In addition, you can own more than one town. I myself own 7 (still in construction). There's no limit to the ammount of towns that you can own, but as you get more they increase in price. The first town you can own is at the mayor rank, and it comes with the rank. Mayor costs 85000 (though that may seem like a lot, don't give up!). this town may be anywhere in size from 100x100 to 200x200. I hope you enjoy the server and your stay here!
