Sooo...I finally decided to post this. Over the past months the Piville story (www.tinyurl.com/PivilleStory) main thread has accumulated over 1,100 views and many more on side threads for certain chapters. Many players have been mentioned or introduced so far, for example @Exilenela, @clou44, @FiFyFoFumOtter, @Slayer_Boy_2000 or @stoler202. (At this point, a thanks to you and all other player characters in there. ) Until now it was easy to be included in the roleplay by either forum PM'ing me or posting something in the story thread which I then included in the story. Since I have noticed that some posts are far more difficult to include than others, I am making this thread. ~*~ Rules for participating in the pivillean roleplay ~*~ Do not godmode or number-spam. (Look at the link for an explanation.) If you post one/multiple paragraph(s), try to write it in a way that can be included in the story. If you are unsure, feel free to send me a forum PM. When applying via PM, you can just make a small suggestion for a minor appearance. However, your character can be a lot more important if you add some own ideas into the PM. Participants of the story may react to story posts, I will do the same, that is a part of the fun. I reserve the right to ultimately lead the story. If - for example - your character dies, do not attempt things like "but against all expectations he/she survived" unless I decide otherwise. Try to aim for a good grammar and spelling, I do the same. If the story part you are publishing would require any character of the Piville story - even if newly introduced by you - to die, please inform me via PM first. You may join one of the minor nations already mentioned in the story or bring in your own party.
Basically, you can: Make a suggestion for a new character here. The more you explain, the better are your chances of your character playing a bigger role instead of just a small appearance. Do the same as listed in 1. via forum PM if you want your character to be a surprise. You can write something on the Piville story thread which relates to the current story. For example, during the current war you could send an alliance request. But if you decide to post, follow the guidelines above. (Thanks to my OCD I regard point 6 to be very important. ) Also, as a character in the story, you don't need to write a few paragraphs yourself, but you may. If you do, the guidelines above apply. I like it if others post themselves while following the guidelines - reacting to their posts and including them is fun. See the possibilities above.
