HOW TO HOST AND BET SAFELY AT CASINOS Recently there have been more and more casinos popping up on ECC. Therefore, I decided to make this PSA all about how to safely bet at them and host debt bets properly. Tip #1) The ONLY, and I mean, the ONLY way to protect yourself against scams is to not bet. By betting at casinos, you are opening yourself up to the possibility of a scam taking place. However! Do not fear! There are a few ways to mitigate the risks. Tip #2) Only bet with trusted hosts. Players that have hosted millions of dollars in bets over multiple years of playing on ECC are highly unlikely to be running a scamming operation or rigging their casinos. Tip #3) Only bet what you are willing to lose. This is a super cliche sentence, but it is VERY true. In fact, you should be going into each bet expecting to lose all of the money you wagered. Most players will bet large sums of money and “hope that they win”. That is what causes people to go bankrupt. Debt Bets Debt bets are just about the riskiest thing you can do on ECC. Players are often unable to gauge how much money they are losing and cannot tell themselves to stop betting. This leads to desperation and losses stacking up, and ultimately a scam because the player is unable to pay. With debt bets, you don’t see the money leave your balance, making it extremely hard to see the value of your money in the moment. CASINO HOSTS By hosting debt bets, you should be acknowledging the fact that there is a high likelihood that you won’t ever recieve the money you won from debt bets. Only host debt bets with trusted users. If you are winning significant amounts of money, tell that user to stop betting before it gets out of hand. A lot of times, convincing the user to stop betting will control their urge to keep going, again reducing the likelihood that they will scam you due to an inability to pay. HERE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS GUIDE: Use the format below to host debt bets!!! You MUST remember that a debt bet is essentially a loan and an in-game contract of some sorts MUST be done in order to hold your betters liable. Before each debt bet make the player say the following: “Current Debt: [Amount currently owed to host], Bet Amount: [Amount the person is betting on this specific game], Payback Date: [The timeframe for when the better will pay the host the money owed in the case that the host wins and the better loses]” I hope this guide helps! I am not trying to discourage you all from betting, as I am a casino host myself and it is very fun to bet in healthy amounts, however you should be fully aware of the risks when doing so PS: I wrote this whole guide on my phone, I am traveling so I will need to edit it for formatting a bit later.

While I feel that gambling on ECC has been the downfall of many very special players, I think this is an awesome guide that will hopefully keep some of our players out of trouble. Thanks for sharing your ideas with all of us frosty! Maybe these guidelines could be posted at some of our casinos?
