Minecraft Username: Drumindude Affiliation: Soon to be Mayor Town Name: FortDrum Is the Grief located in the Wild? If so, is there a pending Mayor application for this defined region? Yes to both questions Co-ordinates of Grief: x=-940,z=740, y=40 ; x=-9462, z=797, y=70 Brief Description: SMAN97 Chopped tree trunks, left the tops after being told not to. Built a mine in town after being told not to. Evidence: Look for chopped tree trucks after telling him not too. Also, the chat logs should show me telling him repeatedly to not build a mine in town, when I leaved for a few minutes I come back to see a tunnel under his house.
From the sounds of it these sort of offence's are more a violation of individual town rules than clear cut grief. No player built structures were destroyed or damaged and from what you describe he just ignored you and wasnt offensive. The trees weren't forbidden to be cut, he just ignored a rule to remove all the left overs. I have similar rules in my town and I remove the player from the town when the rules are not followed and ensure a comayor or myself do not add him later. Add him to your own personal banned from town list, even though he was not added as the town is in the wild still. I don't believe this is a strick ban situation, I am sure it does not call for a rollback. I will leave this open for other senior mods to review or for you to add more information. Thank you
I see what you are saying. I don't mind cleaning up his mess, I want him out of my town, and what I want to avoid is him making matters worse if I tell him he is kicked out, as I have no authority to stop him from griefing me further. Once I gain actual mayorship I can stop him. I guess my only option in this situation is to wait until I am mayor, hope the griefing either stops, or significant enough for a rollback, and then when that is all over apply for protection removal...
