Suggestion: Two different donation features should be added. -donations for enchantments -Virtual Chest/ crafting table, you do /chest , and get a private chest ascessable anywhere. Reason: Because it would be a great way to get money for the server, and it is just a convinent command.
In regards to the first suggestion: Donations for enchantments would crash the experience market. This will hurt everyone from enchanters to mob hunters to spawner finders. Ultimately, it will take out the most exciting part of the mining world and nether: mob hunting. Sure, it will make some short term revenue, but in the long run, this will hurt a large part of the economy. In regards to the second suggestion: We already have a virtual crafting table. It is the /wb command for users with ExtCreations. And the /chest command is not needed since enderchests have been introduced to Minecraft.
Dfat. I agree with you but of andrew made it so you would have to donate for each enchantment then the exp market wouldnt be affected as much because of the cost of getting it enchanted. Also, this could be a great way to get $ out of the economy. Just an opinion but it might work.
Sorry, but I'll have to disagree again. There are two things on this server that rely on luck: Lottery and Enchanting. There are two things on this server that have no set price: Diamonds and Experience. Obviously, experience and enchanting are a huge part of this server. It gives thrill when you enchant it and it is one of the few items that accurately reflect the health of our economy. By guaranteeing enchantments, you will take away the thrill and fun of enchanting and also artificially deflate experience prices. I don't see the point of this, besides generating revenue for the server. You will take away part of the server's thrill appeal, reduce the prices of items that people saved up for, and inflate the economy. In the long run, I will see little profit from this idea. And a question for your second point: How does this take money out of the economy? Donation features are not the currency of our economy; EcoDollars are.
Dfat but if you wanted an e5 axe you would have to pay 30$ or 90k and above for it making 30 levels valueable
I like potatoes. I also agree that we should not donate for enchanted. There's tons of EXP, donate for ECO$ and buy EXP then good luck! A Donation of $30 USD gives you $40,000 ECO$. Most often the highest price for 30 levels is 3k. You could enchant 13 times to attempt to get what you want, and honestly... that is fairly good odds now. You'd possibly be able to sell the ones you didn't want and make up even more money to enchant more times. I see no reason to donate for enchanted items, at all.
