Hi! So, I'm not popular on this server or anything. I actually haven't played in a month or so (because MC was making me motion sick for some reason). I am now back to normal and wanting to play again, but a couple weeks ago I was hacked. I only figured this out because they emailed me asking if I had changed my email. Of course I denied this, changed my password back, and added security questions. Unfortunately, the hacker had already changed my username. I have already emailed Mojang in case they will change it before the 30 days are up, but if not I will change it then. My questions are: - Do I need to add this bogus username to anything? Such as when I apply to stuff or anything like that? I don't really know if there's anything that asks for all usernames you are known by. - Do LWCs work for the name or the account? As in, if I decide to buy a plot and have some LWC chests on this stupid name, will they transfer to my new name or... will I not be able to access them? - Is there someone I should let know about my name change? I'm guessing not, since it will only be for, at most, another 10 or so days. - Should I be hesitant to put my name on anything? I really want to buy a plot now that I'm back, but I don't want it to be in a name that I do NOT plan on keeping. Those are the only ones I can think of at the moment. But if there's anything that I may not have thought of about the change in username, feel free to let me know. As I said, I plan to change it back to Arrayah ASAP so I don't want to change my name on the forums or anything. _GoldenWarior_ (my "new" username) is such a stupid name. You can always change the username back. In your case, Jan 10. (https://namemc.com/s?Arrayah) When you file a name change application (https://ecocitycraft.com/forum/forms/form.11/respond), all of your locks will be transferred over to the new username. You can also file another one when/if you decide to change your name back to Arrayah. The only things that won't transfer are trade signs. But you can just wait until you can change your name back to have access to them again. GA's will fix your forum name and everything as soon as they can. You can always ask your mayor to change the name in this situation. I'm sure they'll help you out too. But no, this "hacked" name is only put on things that you want it to be put on. Hope I helped.
Locks are automatic. No name change application required. The name change application is solely for your forum name.
@Arrayah - I'm pretty sure you will need to change your account name, though I'd try to hold out as long as I can.
Oh I see what you mean! @Arrayah - you are welcome to a plot in newdemonheim, these are all free of charge and no worries changing your name etc.
