This bug is known, andrew has contacted the devs about it. If mods find a user repeatedly disconnecting from the server we do everything in our power to fix the issue. Until the devs can fix this bug this will be how it is done. We have been unable to find a solution to the "god mode" bug for pvp-ers so just wait until the server restarts if it happens again and it will be fixed.
