Minecraft Username: Silence_isGolden Brief Description: After you break sand or dirt you can re-stack it, break it again and receive more glow dust. Instructions: Break a few sand/dirt blocks, stack them into a tower and break them again How many times did you recreate this bug?: every time I made a stack. (several hundred times now) Result: Every time I do this, I receive glow dust no matter how many times I repeat it. Expected Result: Evidence:
No answer for Expected Result: and Evidence: Also, I don't think this is a server bug, I think it's mcMMO
I'd say that it's just mcMMO, and it doesn't need fixed. That's just my opinion. You're still digging, whether it was there naturally or you placed it. Good way to get free glowstone
I think it might be part of the mcMMO excavation treasure thing. Where if you dig dirt, gravel, sand (and I think there's one more?) you have a chance of getting a treasure.
I believe this is as intended. It is a nice nest pot, wont always drop but when it does its a nice reward. Thou this will take andrew to ensure its okay. The old versions of MCmmo used to let you drop resources and gain more exp, this is no longer true. Dirt, gravel etc etc must never have been mined by a player before for it to give you exp in mcmmo.
User puts work into placing dirt/gravel/sand/clay, I think they should be getting a reward for it. And what Anok said should be true; only naturally-generated blocks (blocks not placed by users) should give McMM EXP. However, blocks placed by users will sometimes give EXP after full server restarts. Those don't happen too often, though.
