Minecraft Username: Lavajok Brief Description: Whenever I make a gate with a sign(obviously), I cannot destroy the fencing I placed originally to make the gate. I have tried lowering the gate(can't be destroyed), raising the gate(can't be destroyed), removed the sign(cant be destroyed) and have tried it with gate sign still active(can't destroy gate). Instructions: Place fencing, place gate sign, lower gate, raise gate, try to destroy original fencing placed for gate. How many times did you recreate this bug?: 25+ Result: Fencing was not destroyed. Expected Result: Fencing should have been destroyed. Evidence: Try it out and see.
**Update** After the server restart, I was able to remove the gate that was mentioned in the post above. I placed another fence, gate sign, lowered gate, raised gate, broke gate sign and tried to remove the fencing, but it did not break. It does not even give an error that it usually does saying "this protected gate cannot be broken."
After the server reset due to lag, I was able to remove my gate. My gate was in the up/open position, and the sign was removed before the reset. I am not sure how often the server is reset/rebooted but if we add a warning regarding gates this may be a decent temporary fix. RagMan
Only 45 are open? What? Issue is due to an old version of CraftBook being put over the new version... restarts fix it.
