Hey all I've been looking at putting together a gaming pc. I wanted to spend around $1500 USD. If you guys could help me out and recommend a build with the pricing around 1500 I'll give the best build 20k :)

I'm only willing to build Intel, looking at the 3770k, have been advised against the Haswell 4770k.

Please list the build and the most detailed gets that's easy 20,000$!

Do you plan to overclock at all? Also, give us some more info on what it'll all be for, and certain requirements like hard drive size, and/or an SSD

I'm looking to overlook yes so I will need water Cooling. I'm using it for 2k gaming as well as picture rendering.

I would like min 2tb of hd space with a available ssd. Min 16gb of ram.

Ok, with this, I'll see what I can do. Also, flamiri, you don't need an SSD if it's for gaming, but it's recommended

liamfrench Which website would you like me to use to reference parts from? pcpartpicker.com? newegg.com? amazon.com?

I highly reccomend tomshardware. The website is very informative. Go into the systems forum and post your request there, you'll get responses of how to build a computer you like from people who look at this stuff everyday, Hope I helped.

Sorry I've been delaying a bit, but I got a PC build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1jtUh . There's $50 left over. This PC would be very fast... If only I could have doubled my budget on my PC :(

He won't be able to do much with that. I'd suggest adding a motherboard. ;)

If you can bump up 250 you can better future proof possibly with an X79 based vs. the Dead Z77 and the over rated haswell. Now their is a rumor that the new Ivy Bridge-E for 2011 socket will still be a 2011 socket but will require a new motherboard the current 2011 sockets will not work.

Now also I would consider an AMD aproach to this.. Great gaming CPU's save a buck for your GPU here is an AMD build below:

So you are in a quandry.. You can save 100 off your budget and go with AMD. You can Stick to you budget and step down in intel processors (not really a step down) or you can spend $100 more than your budget and get what you're looking at.

Now you can save a buck here and there by going with different MB/Memory etc... this is just a rough outline. the ASrock brand are feature rich without being rich on the wallet.. Go with the 3570K processor maybe even upgrade your video card to the GTX 770 and same some on the MB.. I'll post that config to see if it works. I would reccomend the following boards as backups:

Ok so this is as good as I believe it gets. You get a killer Video Card GTX 770 and don't really loose out on anything.

The biggest differences form any above post is differnt cooler the 212 EVO is one of the best air coolers and you can still OC with it, MB ASrock, less memory and memory speed 1600DDR3 8gb vs 2133DDR3 16gb

liamfrench I did not use Newegg Canada So your prices might be slightly higher. I'll try and redo it below:

We can save a few bucks on the power supply to get you under the 1500 mark. Also if you want a different case you might be able to save a few bucks there. Here is the power supply link:

    http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171057

that saves you $50 right off the bat. Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold Series RS800-80GAD3-US 800W

    http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Produc...18&Tpk=corsair carbide 200r&IsVirtualParent=1

that saves you $60 right off the bat. Corsair Carbide Series 200R

If I may say that is a kick ass build for the money.. A killer GPU and CPU that you can OC all day long.. We saved on Case, PS, Memory but didn't sacrifice quality. I'd save up for a boot SSD drive (120gb in size) and that's all I'd really add unless you want a closed loop water cooler like the H100i H110 or the like...

I hope you don't need a monitor or anything else.. This is obviously for the box only.. If you need those items let me know that that changes things drastically.
    Done!!!
