Minecraft Name: @stigarose Suggestion: so, I’m not sure how big a problem this is for people...but in the 2 years I’ve been on ECC I’ve had two builders unable to rank up because they weren’t allowed on forums by there parents. Would it be possible to make the rank to resident automated with a command since you’re not adding any regions like mayor and pres? You need resident to make trade signs and get additional lwcs as well as be a true co-owner. Reason: don’t want to lose players because they’re not permitted on forum. Any Other Information: I don’t even know if it’s possible... or even that big a deal. Is it allowed for another player to open a forum acct for someone else? That’d work too I suppose. Edit: could we make it permissible to file on another players behalf with a screen shot showing as evidence of their desire to rank up. This would work so they could rank past resident too. I think this would be the easiest solution of all. Again maybe it’s a minimal issue...
It's possible, yes. But it most likely won't happen, you need the forums to rank up from there on so what's the point?
TBH, if someone wanted to rank up that badly, then I’m sure they could sneak it somehow. I’ve been an adult for a majority of my ECC career, so I really don’t remember if <18 actually need a parent to say it’s ok or not.
Ranking up via a command has been suggested in the past, and it would not be feasible for ranks above resident. However, ranks are tied to the forums as well as the server. I suppose you could in theory make an account for someone else, but it would have to be tied to an email and would be riskier for the person you make it for.
