Minecraft Username: ZevZero Brief Description: Going to the Staff Complaints section removes your custom forum theme. Instructions: You must have forum premium to do this. Go to the "Staff Complaints" section. If you have a custom theme applied, it will disappear. How many times did you recreate this bug? Happens 100% of the time. Result: Default forum theme gets applied. Expected Result: Custom forum theme should stay applied. Evidence: Click the link below. If you have a custom theme applied, it will disappear. https://ecocitycraft.com/forum/forms/complaint-form.13/respond UPDATE: There seems to be an issue with the "www" before the URL. When I was on the page, I realized that it was missing from the URL. I inserted it and hit enter, and the theme was re-applied. Strange... It turns out, removing the "www" from the URL of any page on the forums removes your custom theme. I looked at the link to the Staff Complaint section, and it isn't missing the "www" in the URL... but when I click the link, it's not there.
This doesn't happen to me - does it persist when you reload the page? The forum theme appears to bug very regularly for me on random pages, but it is always fixable with a single F5.
I clicked the link and as you said, the www was missing from the url. I put it in and the theme was applied again. Is this some kind of bug with the website, or just my internet? I've never seen that happen before.
It's due to your browser cookies. Set the same custom theme in www. and non www. pages and you won't have this issue.
That's what I did when these bugs first occurred, i.e., some time after the forum style change. It didn't really fix it for me, even consistent use of my bookmarks occasionally yielded different results. I tested with both ecocitycraft.com and www.ecocitycraft.com bookmarks. Although, I suspect that in my case the cookies are breaking things in a different way.* *Reason: My old problems with 2fa's cookie-based "Remember this device for 30 days" not working, then suddenly working for a few weeks, breaking again, working again, cloudflare cookies resetting, etc.
