Minecraft Name:mrpublic Suggestion:Allowing more then one person to edit a thread if the user who posted the thread allows them. Reason:It would be very helpful with clan forums and etc. It would be so you could both add information to the thread or add users to the clan list. Any Other Information:N/A Link To This Plugin:N/A. I'm not sure if this is possible or not but thought I would suggest it anyways.
+1 but i could see this becomming somthing that wont be added due to a situation like this user creats clan, invites friend as co-owner, they well.. hate eachother for some reason, and troll's the thread he was added to, and because its still posted under the clan-owners name, from the outside, it would appear as if he's saying what was edited in
I don't think this is possible.. But it is a good idea. You'd just have to trust the person you give permission to.
You just need to add a "Last edited by "Name" so and so minutes ago" That way, if i made a clan, and harry edited my clan thread, it would say "Last edited by Harryhaz1 yesterday at 3:53 PM" Or, if i had edited it it would just have my name and time of edit.
This , though without the reason, because that's a staff thing. I don't know if xenforo has capability to do editing by multiple people though. (Aside from staffmembers, who can edit everything)
well if staff can do it why can't we? if it possible to do it if you are part of staff just put a password that is editable by the user who posted it. if staff cando it and put passwords or trust the user we are fine
